John with his Hansa-Brandenburg C-1 at the 2005 Championships taking 8th place. Awards that John Has won with this beautiful aircraft are: Best WW1, Best scratch-built, Most realistic flight, Most unusual design (1/8th award) John has been building and flying for more than 40 years and now has a 1/4scale DH-2 (own design), TF large scale P-51B, IOM sailboat, Comet 54" Taylorcraft for e-pwr on his bench. He hopes to have his Proctor Jenny refinished soon. His dream project is a Lohner B-VII in 1/4 scale, it's a WW1 light bomber. The plans are done, most parts cut, what's the hold up?? John says, "My goals are to help others with model building, finish all I have started. Someday, I would like someone to build one of my designs, then place better than me at a contest!
