~ 2008 Officers ~

The Scale Masters Association has been incorporated into a non-profit organization with a board of directors, an advisory committee plus open enrollment membership with annual dues.

 

Purpose: Sets goals and objectives and oversees all Association functions.  Works closely with Directors and Advisory Board to maximize effectiveness in the organization, regional qualifiers, and grand championship contests.

Major Tasks: Creates and maintains 5 year operating plan. Organizes and chairs monthly Board of Directors meeting.

Purpose: Assist National Chairman and other Directors in making decisions for the Scale Masters Association.  Acts in behalf of National Chairman if necessary.

Major Tasks: Reviews proposals and suggestions for improvement. Makes recommendations and leads special task forces. Coordinates Grand Championship contest for the year associated with their area.  Oversees the Regional Managers and Advisory Team.

Purpose:  Focal point for all financial activities.

Major Tasks: Maintains all Financial Records. Responsible for all tax, public and financial reportiing.

Purpose:  Communication hub for routing questions and requests to appropriate Director.

Major Tasks: Printing and distribution of guidebooks, reports, letters, Newsletter, and other communication materials. Process calls, Fax's, and emails. Keeps membership database up to date, sends out member packets, badges, and membership cards.
