1. Static will be held at Robart’s Arena, Sarasota Fairground.  If the weather is good then it will be held outside if not we have a building to use.  I will get a map in the next day or two.

2. The banquet will be held at the Potter Building in the fair grounds.  We plan to have a steak and chicken buffet with a vegetable, baked potato, salad, rolls, coffee, ice tea and desert.

3. The host hotel is the Hampton Inn located at exit 207 on I-75 Sarasota, FL. Tel is 941.371.1900.  Make sure you tell them you are with the Scale Masters Championships to get the rate.  It is $94.00 plus taxes. This was the best we could do in this town. The hotel is located about 5 miles from the field.  Very easy to get to.

Just to clarify our decision to have the static off site.  If we have bad weather this site affords us a DRY place to have static.  You can unload and load under cover.  It is large. Something like 40x100. Lots of room and well lighted.  Also this location is next door to the banquet building so everyone will know where it is.  Out side there is an area that we can use to do static if the weather is good.  About 3 acres.
